My First Relief Society Lesson

I gave my first Relief Society lesson last Sunday. It was about forgiveness with a focus on forgiving ourselves and letting go of the guilt of sin after God has forgiven us. I was really nervous about teaching, so I did a lot of praying and preparing. Usually when I get up in front of a group of people, I can't think straight. I usually have to read from a piece of paper or all of my thoughts leave me and I constantly lose my train of thought. During this lesson, though, I felt completely calm. My thoughts flowed freely and eloquently from my mouth and the Spirit was with me. Many people shared great comments and it was just such a wonderful experience. The point is, I know how much Heavenly Father wants us to come to Him for help in everything that we do. I had so many people tell me how much the lesson touched them and one woman even said that she was impressed with some of the wise things I said. I am not wise, but Heavenly Father was waiting and hoping to bless me with the ability to teach. I want you guys to know that I know that Heavenly Father is waiting to bless us if we ask Him in faith.

When Beth Came to Visit

We had a lot of fun when Auntie Beth came to visit. Mom and Dad and Elden and Michael and Beth and I went four-wheeling with cousins Blake and Ruth and Bailey. We also went camping and tubed down the river, but I didn't get any pictures of that for some reason.

Eldie's face got all dirty.

Beth and I were the dirtiest because we went off by oursleves and had an adventure involving flipped four-wheelers and being up to my knees in a 2-feet deep mud puddle and getting stuck in a rut halfway up a steep hill. It was ever so much fun. The dirt on my feet got through my heavy shoes and thick socks. Yippee!

The boys took FOREVER on the four-wheelers so we played our favorite game while we waited.

After the fun: a couple of cute (and clean) girls.

I can do it. I will do it nine times.

The more I post, the more you guys complain. I need to call Grandma and Grandpa and tell them that all of their descendants are whiners, not just Miranda as was previously believed. I hadn't posted since November and you complained. I posted in April, and you whined. I posted in May, and you sulked. I posted in June, and you still weren't satisfied. So this month, I will post at least 9 times!!! Why nine times, you say? This is why:
